Join us for an upcoming Information Session.
Event Types
We currently host three types of events:
Information Session
Information Sessions are virtual or in-person 30-minute meetings that an interested DHS employee, DHS partner organization, or University can attend to learn more about H4HS and make a decision to engage. Insights include answers to:
What is H4HS?
How can they leverage the H4HS program to increase capacity?
What is required to be an H4HS problem sponsor?
Contact us to attend or host an Information Session.
Problem Sourcing Seminar
The Problem Sourcing Seminar (PSS) is a fast-paced and active session for potential sponsors to ideate potential problems and challenges they are facing in their agency to then decide which challenges to submit for H4HS. These seminars:
Provide participants with an overview of H4HS
Outline the roles and responsibilities of a sponsor
Ideate possible problems/challenges DHS employees could submit
Determine which problems/challenges should go through H4HS
Problem Sourcing Seminars can be in person or virtual and are usually done per request from DHS components and employees.
Contact us to set up a PSS for your team.
Educators Course
The Educators Course is a comprehensive and immersive training for both existing H4HS Educator Teams and people hoping to bring H4HS to their University campus. In order to prepare educators for a successful program at their university, Educators Courses provide educators with an overview of Hacking for Homeland Security (H4HS) , including:
